Join Office of International Students & Scholars for a Rock Star Trolley sunset tour of Santa Barbara’s historic and cultural landmarks. The tour is $25 per person, open to all international and domestic students, scholars and guests in possession of a valid ID that shows age 21 or over.

UCSB's Gauchos for Recovery, part of the Alcohol and Drug Program, are offering an open 12-Step meeting for graduate and non-traditional students every Thursday at 6:30 p.m. in Embarcadero Hall. The meetings are lead by a graduate student in recovery and more information can be found on the Gauchos for Recovery website.

Join for the 2018 Latin American and Iberian Studies conference, Queer Hemisphere: América Cuir. Scholars, activists, and performers from Mexico, Brazil, Peru, other Andean countries, as well as Latinx communities in the US, are coming together to discuss the challenges of studying gender and sexuality in the Americas.

UCSB’s Gevirtz Graduate School of Education is pleased to present 2018 GGSE Grad Slam on Tuesday, April 3. This is a non-competitive event that allows graduate students to share their research within three minutes with the rest of the GGSE community. Deadline to register is Friday, February 9.

On November 29, 2017, graduate students, as well as undergraduates and faculty in solidarity, participated in the National Rally to Save Higher Ed walk-out to protest tax changes proposed by the U.S. House of Representatives.
