Students are now eligible to receive two, in-person Doctoral Student Travel Grants, one of which may be used for international travel, during their graduate career at UCSB. The grants are awarded to eligible students on a first-come, first-served basis each fiscal year, so apply soon!

The Fulbright U.S. Student Program is a highly competitive international educational exchange program sponsored by the U.S. government and is designed to increase mutual understanding between the people of the United States and the people of other countries. In the 2021-22 award cycle, 17 students applied from UCSB, 6 were selected as finalists, 1 was selected as an alternate, and 7 were selected as semi-finalists.
