Graduate students are invited to attend and present their research at City of Hope’s 5th Annual Biomedical Research Graduate Student Symposium, to be held via Zoom on August 27, 2021. Are you interested in teaching at a community college? Check out a new mentorship program called The Rancho Academy, designed for students interested in a faculty or administrator career at the community college level. The program is a six-week to ten-week commitment at no cost and students will be matched with a faculty or administrator mentor. Students are welcome to apply by August 19, 2021 to the next cohort which begins on September 1, 2021 or by October 14, 2021 to join the cohort beginning on November 1, 2021. Read on to learn more!

UCSB Arts & Lectures announces the return of FREE Summer Cinema with Be Excellent & Party On! - Movies Under the Stars in Your Cars on Thursday evenings at 8:30pm from July 1 through Aug. 12 at West Wind Drive-in Santa Barbara. The eFellows program places early career PhDs in engineering fields in university research postdoctoral fellowships. In addition to hands-on academic research with a faculty advisor, each fellowship cohort will participate in professional development and mentoring activities designed to prepare them for future research careers. The Graduate Division, in partnership with the Division of Student Affairs, is currently accepting applications for the International Graduate Student Peer Advisor. Along with an hourly salary and partial fee support, this position provides the opportunity to gain valuable experience working in academic administration while supporting fellow graduate students.
