The Graduate Division would like to congratulate Sam del Castillo on matching at the California State University Long Beach Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS)! Sam will be completing their predoctoral internship with CSU Long Beach's CAPS, where they will be working with students and supporting their mental health. The UCSB Women's Center is hiring a graduate student to help with programming. The Women’s Center is the primary organization on campus dedicated to providing education on women’s issues, feminism, healthy masculinities, and gender and social equity. In addition, it serves as a conduit for many other women’s and social justice organizations, and a site for mentorship and external educational programs. The UCSB Research Mentorship Program (RMP) is seeking graduate students, postdocs, and researchers for a paid mentorship opportunity this summer. The RMP will be delivered virtually in Summer Session A (June 20 – July 30, 2021), and mentors will receive $1,000 per project per student (up to $4,000). The Interdisciplinary Humanities Center (IHC) is accepting applications for 2021-22 graduate instructors to teach in the Foundations in the Humanities program. Foundations in the Humanities is a restorative justice program that uses the study of literature through correspondence courses to enable participants to expand their insight into themselves and their society, for the purpose of building better lives in prison and after their release. Fellows receive a $500 stipend per quarter. Apply by June 1.
