UCSB graduate students and research faculty with deep technology to bring to market are invited to participate in the UCLA Innovation Corps (I-Corps) Regional Program (ZAP).

UCSB's Center for Taiwan Studies will be hosting the Global Storytelling International Workshop this Thursday and Friday, April 6 and 7. This workshop brings together student scholars in training with international experts and community members to engage in critical, collective reflections about ethnographic methods, qualitative inquiry, and stories of life in Taiwan.

The UC-National Lab In-Residence Graduate Fellowships provide support for UC doctoral students with two to three years of funding to conduct in-residence dissertation research and receive professional training at Los Alamos or Lawrence Livermore National Laboratories in any area relevant to the labs. As CCST Science Fellows, scientists and engineers spend one year in Sacramento serving the California State Legislature. More than 50% of CCST Science Fellows have been hired by the California State Legislature or state agencies since completing their fellowship. Completed applications are due by March 31, 2023. UCSB Career Services and the GSRC are recruiting two Graduate Career positions, to begin employment in Summer 2023 and run through Spring quarter 2024. The position will help graduate students on issues related to career development including direct service and programming development and support.

Nominations are open for the 2023 Graduate Division Commencement Student Speaker! Faculty, staff, and graduate students may nominate a student for the 2023 Commencement ceremony. Students can also self-nominate with a letter of faculty support. Submit by Monday, April 3.
