Applications are now open for the Supporting Outstanding Academic Research (SOAR) Awards. The selection committee is soliciting applications from post-doctoral researchers and graduating PhD students in Psychology, Neuroscience, Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences, or related fields with identities or perspectives under-represented in science and/or research interests that foster inclusivity in behavioral and brain sciences. Apply by October 25.

UCSB's Fall campus-wide TA Orientation is required for all graduate students who will be teaching assistants (TAs) or readers for the first time during the 2023-24 school year. Live events run on September 25 and 26, and asynchronous modules are available from September 18-26. Register now and save the dates!

The Office of International Students and Scholars (OISS) will be implementing a new employment policy for international students, effective starting September 28, 2023. Starting this Fall, international students may work 20 hours on campus and 20 hours off campus when school is in session. Read on for more info!
