Due to the ongoing COVID-19 emergency and further guidance from health officials, the Graduate Division team has decided to cancel the 2020 UCSB Grad Slam competition.

The Graduate Division will be closed to walk-in traffic and in-person advising. All of the filing and advancement deadlines for winter and spring quarter will remain intact, however, we will accept electronic submissions as described in this article.

Eugene Riordan is the Graduate Student Assistant at the Resource Center for Sexual and Gender Diversity (RCSGD). Eugene's role is to support queer and trans graduate students in all phases of their education, advocate for and with them within UCSB structures, and partner with other campus groups to help queer and trans graduate students develop socially and professionally.
