Check out a new mentorship program called The Rancho Academy, designed for students interested in a faculty or administrator career at the community college level. Collaborate employs tech-savvy and service-oriented graduate students to serve as Instructional Design Assistants. Available roles include 50 percent positions with fee remission and 25 percent positions without fee remission. For the academic year 2022-2023 these positions will be remote. Apply by August 26. The Fulbright U.S. Student Program is a highly competitive international educational exchange program sponsored by the U.S. government and is designed to increase mutual understanding between the people of the United States and the people of other countries. In the 2022-23 award cycle, 15 students applied from UCSB, 6 were selected as finalists, 2 were selected as alternates, and 4 were selected as semi-finalists. Congratulations to these outstanding students!

Stanford PRISM (Postdoctoral Recruitment Initiative in Sciences and Medicine) is an opportunity for select late-stage graduate students from diverse backgrounds to explore postdoctoral training at Stanford, including interviewing with potential mentors, getting the inside scoop on postdoctoral training at Stanford from current postdocs, and accessing professional development to score the best postdoc for them.
