The UCSB Attention Lab is recruiting participants for a new study investigating the effects of stress on the human brain and body! The study consists of one session that will last approximately 3-4 hours, and participants will receive $20/hour for their time spent in the lab. Read on for more information.

With this year’s theme of “Experimental Teaching,” the Engaging Teaching Symposium invites participants to submit research-based contributions as well as case-studies that make use of available evidence to discuss improved teaching, student learning and engagement, or professional development as teachers. UCSB Arts & Lectures' popular FREE Summer Cinema Series “Hot Fun in the Summertime” kicked off last Wednesday, July 6 at UCSB Campbell Hall, and continues through August 26. The Fulbright U.S. Student Program is a highly competitive international educational exchange program sponsored by the U.S. government and is designed to increase mutual understanding between the people of the United States and the people of other countries. In the 2022-23 award cycle, 15 students applied from UCSB, 6 were selected as finalists, 2 were selected as alternates, and 4 were selected as semi-finalists.
